Mike, I have been talking with you about my Ultra Groundpounder. I am looking at a JPCycles catalog at replacement parts for my S&S Super G carb. I see at the front left side of the carb there is a plug called a bowel vent plug. My plug is missing. What type of plug is it and how important is it to have it. Thanks

I know the plug you are talking about, but as to what it is there for I am not sure of. What I am going to do is refer you to S&S. They can answer your question better than I can. Here is a number you can call. It is the tech support for S&S. 1-608-627-8324. They will be more than glad to help you.
