1989 kawasaki 750 vulcan [email protected]    put a starter in the motorcycle now when i start it only runs with choke on but not raising rpm when i hit the throttle it dies please help

Hi Howard,

Can you give any additional information? Any history of problems, repairs, modifications? Was this MC stored awhile? What happened with the starter motor? Why was it replaced?

Is the only runs with choke and poor running problem a new problem since the starter motor was replaced?

Answer these questions and provide as much info as possible for best diagnosis. We'll go from there.
