Motorcycle Repair: Carb Draining, clymer repair manual, float bowl

i have an 87 cbr1000f. how do i get to the float bowl screw so that i can drain the carbs?

Hi Terrence,

Remove side panels to access the four float bowl drain screws.

Visit "www.bikebandit.com" to view microfiche parts on line. I recommend the purchase a Clymer repair manual, too. Costs about $20 and will pay for itself with first repair.
