Motorcycle Repair: carburetor needle removal, suzuki ltz 400, suzuki model

How do you remove the needle from the vacume slide? I am installing a dynojet kit on my 03 Suzuki LTZ-400 Quadsport. I have the slide removed but cannot figure how to get the needle out.

You have to remove the holder from inside the slide.
