Motorcycle Repair: noises, crankcase, linkage

hi Mark,lately I've been hearing metallic clicking noises eminating from the left crankcase on my 95 kz1000p. sometimes I'll feel a double click when I'm downshifting. What can be the causes of this noise? Thanks again

I need to hear and feel what you've described to diagnose the problem.

It could be shift drum, shift shaft linkage, counter shaft sproket, etc... There are several possibilities.

Have a local tech listen and feel for the symptoms.
