Motorcycle Repair: Carburetor on Bayou 220, kawasaki bayou 220, vent hoses
QuestionMark,
I have a 1995 Kawasaki Bayou 220 that I cannot get the carb. adjusted properly at idle. I have installed a kit and cleaned twice but it will idle rough and then rev to very high RPM's. Could there still be trash in a passage or the float valve not be closing. It's probably something simple that I'm missing but it's about to drivr me crazier. Your help will certainly be appreciated.
Sincerely,

AnswerClean the fuel tank, petcock, fuel and vacuum hoses, and carburetor. Sediment or other debris from the tank may be the source and re-contaminating your clean carbs.
Ensure float bowl vent hoses and fuel tank cap vent hoses are unobstructed.
I'll send carb info to your email addy.
Respectfully,
