Motorcycle Repair: Yamaha XJ900 1991, yamaha xj900, tyre pressure

Hi Chris

My boyfriend has bought a Yamaha XJ900 (1991) and he wants to know what the tyre pressure should be.
He uses the bike daily to get to work, but he also takes me out riding quite often.

Hi Sal.
 Interestingly enough, I have the factory repair manual for the XJ900RK that I had, and for the life of me, I couldn't find one reference to tire pressure in it.

 However, the average tire pressure that most bikes run is around 32-35 psi.  Oftentimes, it is embossed on the tire itself, so look there and see what it has, but it should be around that 32-35 range that I mentioned.
