Motorcycle Repair: i have a Tecumseh 10 hp Engines and it wont start, bike expert, british motorcycle

i choose this catagory becuase it was the closet subject

it will turn the cranksaft and i check the sparkplug it's get's a spark i got it from a relative ao it been setting i really want to get it going becuase it looks powerful
it's a Tecumseh Engines 10 hp and it's a 4 strok

I'm not much help on this one. The Tecumseh engine is used for lawn mowers, go-karts and mini-bikes, etc. I am a British Bike expert. It certainly isn't a British motorcycle.

Sinch the thing has been sitting for years there must be a reason.

What a motor needs to operate are these things. Fuel, air, and a way to mix them accurately. It needs compression, spark, and timing.

So far, I don't see where you have checked the mixture or the compression, or the timing.

Those are where you should start. Don't ask me how to do this with your machine. You need the proper service manual to get the right spec's and proceedure.
