Motorcycle Repair: fan, radiator fan, major components

hi
The radiator fan doesn't work on my cbr600fw
I have changed the unit - didn't help
When riding out of town the temperature is going down
In traffic the temperature going way up.
Connecting the fan to the battery will make it work

Hi Rami.
 The fan portion of the cooling system is the easiest to troubleshoot.  There are, basically, 2 major components.  The fan and the thermosensor.  The fact that the fan will function, says that the thermosensor is bad.  It is that component that is wired to the fan and is plugged into the radiator.

Replace it.
