QuestionI own a 1992 kawasaki zx-6 ninja, I have noticed a clunking noise coming from somewhere in the bike when I start it up. This problem occurs only during the first 5 minutes or so when the bike is started. What could be the cause of this noise?
Also, everytime I want to start my bike I have to use the choke, If I don't the bike will start and then die after a few seconds. I know it is important to let the bike warm up but should I need to use the choke every time I start it? Even in warm weather? note: choke is only needed
when bike has not been run for a few hours.
AnswerHi Drew,

A: Dunno, have to listen to the sounds to diagnose them. Have a local tech listen.
Q: I know it is important to let the bike warm up but should I need to use the choke every time I start it? Even in warm weather?
A: Some engines require the use of choke as described. It's normal.
