Motorcycle Repair: Choke Cable, suzuki katana 750, 1999 suzuki katana 750
QuestionI currently own a 1999 Suzuki Katana 750. I had a bad problem with the choke cable being seized up, so I purchased a new one. I can "pull" the choke out, but can't "push" it back in. I think the problem is in the way that I have the cable routed in the choke control (LH switch aseembly) but can't figure out the way the tension spring inside the assembly works. Any suggestions? Thanks!
AnswerHi Ethan,
Tha's a simple, but frustrating fix. I've owned Katanas & GSX-R's, even worked for Suzuki. However, I do not remember how it appears. If you can send an image of the LH control opened, I'll advise on the fix.
I searched the internet for about 30 minutes looking for text or images with negative results.
