Motorcycle Repair: 1983 vt 750 coolant tank, coolant tank, nearby components

Question
I have a Clymer manual but it does not address how to remove and replace the coolant tank.  Do I need to pull the engine to replace this little tank?  Or, is there any additive I can use to fix the leak?

Hi Bob.
 You should not need to remove the engine to remove this tank.  You most likely will have to remove a number of  nearby components to get it out of there.  Unfortunately, there is no additive that will seal a leak in the coolant overflow tank.
