Motorcycle Repair: Have 2001 Yamaha TTR225N - will not start, loose connections, shively

Battery is ok & tried another one just in case.  The relay (#20 on oem parts list) clicked a few times and the engine turned over.  Now it will not turn over.  Ideas from here please.

Hi Jerry,

Check the fuses & relays, check for loose connections (especially battery), if the MC was stored- disassemble and thoroughly clean the carburetor.

Without knowing the history on the MC and problem, I would recommend having a tech look into the problem.
