Hello,

    I seem to be having some trouble with my choke. I am not sure which way to push the choke to close it...right or left? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jake,

I don't know which way to move the lever. : ) Look at the carb and choke linkage while moving the lever back and forth. Notice the choke plungers on back top side of carbs. When plungers are up or raised, the choke is "on".

Click "Part & Service" and then "Parts Catalog"

Click "XV750H (1981 Motorcycle)" from the left menu

Click "Carburetor" and look at part numbers: 30 & 5, this is the choke plunger and choke lever.
