Motorcycle Repair: throttle, design specs, handlebar

ive fitted a new handlebar. now the cables are short i can not find any longer ones will they be ok rerouted

Hi Paul.
 The problem with rerouting cables is that they, oftentimes, do not work correctly after being routed differently from their design specs.

I would test them out before making any routing changes permanent.  Make sure that they work correctly at all times and with the handlebars turning through their entire range of motion.

Also, you may have to look around a bit, but there are places that you can order cables that are extra long, but it will require some looking on the web.
