Motorcycle Repair: Aftermarket exhaust, hi matthew, jet size

Hey Falcon,
I just purchased a Yosh RS-3 race slip-on
for my sons 1997 YZF600R. Do I need to go up on the jet size when I put it on? If so, how many sizes do you recommend? We live at sea level.

Hi Matthew.
 As long as your bike was on the list of bikes that the exhaust was made for, then you shouldn't have to change anything in the carbs, unless the instructions that came with them say otherwise, and then it should list what you should change it to.

If there is nothing about changing the jets, then leave them be as the factory set them.
