how do you set the pluds it is missing when it is runing

Hi Jame.
 Missing is due to the timing being off.  The gap on the plug is important but will not cause missing.

Get your repair manual and check the spark plug gap setting, valve gap setting and timing.  The proceedure is rather simple and is in the manual along with all of the gap settings.
