QuestionI HAVE COOLANT IN MY OIL . CHANGED HEAD GASKET. STILL THE SAME. WHERE ELSE COULD COOLANT GET TO ENGINE OIL?
AnswerHi Vince,
Seals, warped head, cracked cylinder, o'rings, mechanical seal/waterpump, all come to mind.
Try a cylinder leak-down test. This will determine the source of the leak, usually. Pressurize each cylinder, remove oil filler cap and radiator cap watch for bubbles and listen for escaping air. There's more to it than that, but tool instructions will explain how to use tool. Simple to use.
