Motorcycle Repair: 2002 FLHTC, side switch, switch assembly

Question
How do I remove the forklock/ingnition knob from my 02 dresser.  I am adding a new right side switch assembly w/cruise control and need to remove the small part of the lower dash with the acc&spot switches.

To remove the ignition switch knob turn the switch knob to Access. There is a button under the switch knob on the left side. Depress the button with a small screwdriver and while pushing the key down, turn the knob 60 degrees counter clock wise. Then just lift the knob and remove.
