just bought 50 cc 2 stroke 1999 gilera scooter. was garaged for 1 year. it starts but wheel doesnt engage till mid throttle loses power full throttle. dont know if its clutch or gunged up with old fuel. what should i do? only 4000 miles. thanks for any help possible

Hi John,

It sounds as if the carb is varnished. May be excessively rich after mid-range causing the loss of power. All could be related to the varnishing.
