Nissan Repair: manual trans., gear oil, gears

Question
The gears 1 through 3 are very stiff to shift.Ther is no grinding or noise at all.When the trans heats up it gets worse,sometimes cannot get 2nd gear or even first.Is it maybe a fluid level problem?

Hi Bruce -

I did not get the make, model and year of your Nissan, but it looks like the gear sync needs correction. Unfortunately a trans overhaul may be in your future.

This is assuming that your gear oil is up to the proper level, and clutch is not worn.
