Nissan Repair: 1990 Nissan sentra, valve cover gasket, oil pressure sending unit

Question
What is wrong  oil pressure  light comes on as soon as I put car in gear. I put it in neutral and the light goes out also oil leaking it has been -37c where I am car has been plugged in just happened this morning

Hi Ken -

First thing I would check is your oil pressure sending unit. Most of the time that is the culprit for not only losing oil, but the light going on.

Other than that another popular area for oil leaking is the valve cover gasket.
