Nissan Repair: injectors, 2003 nissan altima, nissan altima

Question
I was advised by a mechanic to clean the intake manifold and the injectors. Can i do it with an over the counter cleaner or it has to be professional done. I had a brand new nissan engine installed at 82k and now I have 93k. I own a 2003 nissan altima

Hi Danny -

Normally you can clean injectors with the cleaners from auto parts stores. Please ensure that the cleaner is compatible with the catalytic converter and does not cause damage when running the cleaner through the fuel system.
