i have a nissan sentra 2007 automatic and the shiftstick is stock in neutral. how con i unlocked it

Hi Jose -

Is there a slot near the shift stick on the console? If so, stick your key in it and try to move the stick - Usually there is a button or the slot to override the lock so the stick cannot be moved by accident

Need to determine whether the problem lies in the stick or the transmission.
