Nissan Repair: gear sticking, nissan serena, transmission overhaul

i have a Nissan Serena 2.0 automatic 1999.when moving very slowly in traffic the car sticks in gear either wont go out of 1st or is stuck in second. i have to stop and switch off the engin for a few minutes before it will work ok

Hi Stuart -

Assuming you have checked the transmission oil level, looks like you are in need of a transmission overhaul.

You can try an additive called AT205, which has worked great for me in the past, even non-shifting transmissions has been repaired by this additive.
