Nissan Repair: Nissan Frontier, 2004 nissan frontier, nissan frontier

I am about to purchase a really nice 2004 Nissan Frontier. The odometer is showing 84,250 miles. Does the 2004 Frontier also have a computer that keeps up with miles? I would just like to make sure that the tuck only has the 84k miles.

Hi Brad -

Unfortunately the ECU does not track the miles. At least to a point where it can be scanned out.
The odometers these days are difficult to doctor, unless a new one is installed during the use of the vehicle.

I know this is not helping you much, but there's not much that can be done.
