My 1998 nissan maxium brake light, battery light and check engine lights stays on

My apologies for the delay. Brake light on: check brake fluid level, brake linings for excessive, wear, brake fluid leaks, parking brake lever not all the way down. Battery light on: check charging system, check battery to make sure it always retains 12.6V. Check Engine Light: Extract trouble codes from ECU memory. Auto Zone and some other auto part stores they will do that  free of charge!
