i have 2005 nissan frontier, i just noticed that the fan is on all the time even i just started my engine. is it normal that my fan is always on even the engine is still cool. i am driving anywhere and temp. gauge is always normal

Hi Dan -

The fan works off a thermal switch, which could be stuck in the closed position.

If the fan is always on, even when cold, you might want to replace the switch. If I am not mistaken, it should be on your radiator.
