Nissan Repair: Nissan ignition, steering wheel, steering column

my car is off and my key is broken in half inside my ignition and my steering wheel is locked. what can i do to fix this?i just cant get the cap off the ignition .

What is the year and model of your Nissan?

Generally speaking, if you remove the plastic housing around the steering column (about 4 screws), you can remove the ignition switch and gently tap the switch against a hard surface, key side down. The broken half of the key should work itself out.
