QuestionQUESTION: I have a 97 Nissan altima, while I'm in rush hour traffic running at 10-15 mph my car suddenly cuts off. I can start it back up with no problem, it only happens as I'm driving at a slow speed. Where do you think I should start looking to solve the problem. Thanks
ANSWER: Hi Raul
I would check a few things in this order -
Ignition module in the distributor
Distributor cap and rotor for cracks or carbon tracking
Fuel pump pressure and volume
Hope this helps -

QUESTION: well now my wife drove the car she started it with no problem, 45 min later she made a stop, she parked the car 10 min later it didn't start. just plain dead no clicking sound or anything. the ignition module and the distributor have been change approx. 1 yr ago. i attempted to jump start vehicle no luck. any ideas
AnswerHi Raul -
If you are attempting to jump start the car and there is still no sound, then I would check the starter. Sometimes if you give it a couple whacks with a hammer, it will start a few times more. That knocks the carbon build up off.
