Nissan Repair: exhaust sensor repair, nissan xterra, vacuum hose

my 200 nissan xterra is running a little rough. When i press on the gas it sounds really rough.  Do you think that this is an exhaust sensor....

If the check engine light is not on, then the sensor is probably OK.

I would check the basics first, such as a tune up. When was the last time it was tuned up? Could be a faulty plug or wire. Also could be a broken or faulty vacuum hose.
