Nissan Repair: driver side mirror, side mirror, putty knife

I am trying to find out how to change a driver side mirror (manual mirror) on a 2007 sentra.Thank you in advance

Hi Glenn -

The mirror is replaced by removing the inside door panel. This panel is basically a snap in, use a putty knife and carefully unsnap the hold downs. There may be some screws to remove at the top and if you have an arm rest and the door handle, and a clip for the window handle if you do not have power windows.

Once you remove the panel, you can access the back of the mirror brace. I think the bolts are 10mm, 3 of them.

Note: If only the glass is cracked, that can be ordered separately.
