Nissan Repair: Headlights, 1988 nissan pulsar, high beams

I have a 1988 nissan pulsar.  Replaced headlights.  They worked fine for a couple of months and now I only have high beams.  Could this be a fuse issue or do i need to replace headlights?

It is probably the headlight switch.  Nissan runs the contacts in the headlight switch and after this long they are probably cooked.  I would check rockauto.com or autopartswarehouse.com or any other on-line place and even your local store if you need it quicker.
