have engine management fault code po140 reding on diag meter can you tell me if this is serious and if i can repair myself the meter says no signal from sensor

Hi Richard -

PO140 - oxygen sensor circuit no activity detected bank 1 sensor 2.

This means that the second oxygen sensor on your exhaust system in line on the passenger side of the vehicle has failed or is disconnected.

Although it is a relatively simple replacement, getting to it, having clearance and the right tool may pose a challenge. I would suggest it be left to a competent mechanic or dealer. It should ne be an outrageous amount of money anyway.
