How to remove broken key from ignition 98 nissan truck

Unless there is enough sticking out you have to replace the ignition switch.  Or, get a column out of a wrecked truck and swap ignition switches completely.  A locksmith might be cheaper if he has the small files that can catch the broken key and get it out.  A used column is around $100 without the airbag.  Also, if you do not have experience with airbag disassemble procedures I would leave it to a locksmith or a shop.  If you want to do the job let me know and I will describe the process.  But, no liability on my part due to the airbag potentially going off...
