Nissan Repair: transaxle oil, vehicle speed sensor, wiring connector

i am trying to put gear oil back in my transaxle and my book tells me to take off the speed pinion but i have no idea wher to find that or even what it looks like. the book says its on top of the transaxle but i still dont know what to look for.

It is the vehicle speed sensor.  Driver's side, on top of the transmission.  Look down below the master cylinder and a little inboard and you will see the wiring connector.  Remove the unit and put the fluid in.  Once done replace the unit and plug it back in.
