Nissan Repair: nissan almira tino 2003 sound system, nissan almira, radio unit

i have been experiencing problems with the speakers in my car for months now, they go off and come back on every week or so , the cd/radio seems to be working fine and has power - but no sound at all coming from speakers

Couple questions for you -

Is this an aftermarket CD/radio unit, or factory?

When is goes out, is it all speakers at the same time, or just one or 2?

Have you checked all speaker wire runs, especially in the door panel?
