Nissan Repair: 99 nissan altima se axle nut, nissan altima, axle nut

I need help removing the axle nut on this car. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I tried a breaker bar with socket only to break the bar! Thank you

Hi Ray -

This nut can be difficult.
I am assuming you have the vehicle on the ground for better stability. I would also spray some WD40 or similar lubricant to help loosen the bolt.

You must use an industrial grade breaker bar, and you may have to insert a metal pipe through the end of the bar to gain additional torque.
