Nissan Repair: Airbag module location, 2006 nissan maxima, nissan maxima

I have a 2006 nissan maxima.  the airbag idot light is blinking.  the dealer says i need a new passenger seat.  could it be the module?  if yes where is it.

Phil,

The airbag in the passenger seat has failed and needs to be replaced.  If the controller for the airbag as lost its connection, internally it has failed, you simply replace it and have the code reset and you are done.  Check out the link below for a good price on an airbag.
