Nissan Repair: 2001 Nissan Sentra wont start, mass airflow sensor, nissan sentra
QuestionHello,
I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra that will not start. The vehicle worked fine before I left it for 30 days. When I returned I was able to start it but it took me about a minute of trying to start it. I was able to drive it home which is a 15 min drive. The next day it wouldn't start. It turns over like it wants to start but nothing happens. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
AnswerMelissa,
I would have the fuel pressure checked to verify the fuel pump is working. If the plugs have not been replaced in the last couple of years I would do so. Was the check engine light on? If so have the codes read and email them to me. Lastly, if all of the above check out I would look at the mass airflow sensor since the Sentra is known for blowing them.
