how often should I replace the timing belt on my 1999 frontier 4 cylinder?

Hi Robin -

For automatics, I usually recommend every 75,000 miles. If your car is manual shift, then 50,000.

Reason is with manual transmission vehicles, there is more stress on the belt due to hard or abrupt shifting.
