Nissan Repair: nissan maxima overheated, coolant level, heater hoses

my nissan overheated due to low coolant level and now the heater doesn't heat up. are they related problems?

Hi Alan -

Was there anything else done to the vehicle as far as repair, other than refilling the coolant level?

There must have been a reason for the coolant level being that low, perhaps a hose leak?

Perhaps the heater hoses were disconnected and plugged?
