Nissan Repair: Wiper linkage assembly separated from the wiper motor linkage, 1989 nissan pulsar, nissan pulsar
Question
Nissan_wipers_dec09
On my 1989 Nissan Pulsar, the wiper linkage assembly separated from the wiper motor linkage at the ball joint. I have already taken it apart, and the teflon wheel that connects the wiper motor to the wiper arm linkage, is completely worn .... basically gone. I am having a very hard time finding the replacement part. Can you help please, thank you, in advance for your consideration in this matter.
AnswerHi Kris -
I usually get my replacement grommets at Carquest. Do you have one where you are at? It is usually an over the counter part that costs only a couple dollars at most. Also try Checkers, or Autozone.
If not, let me know and I can send you the part.
When replacing install the male part of the grommet first, otherwise it will not install.
Hope this helps -
aloha
