Nissan Repair: 1990 nissan pulsar ECM light, nissan pulsar vector, haynes manual

Hey Calvin,
My 1990 nissan pulsar vector will flash the ECM light while driving. i can't seem to find a manual which says what this warning light is for. any advice?

Hi Marcus -

The computer (ECM) is telling you that there is a something out of parameters. Trouble is, you will need a diagnostic tie in to be able to read the code and determine what the cause is.

You have a couple options. First, try this link:

If you don't find what you need there, get a Haynes Manual, and it will tell you how to get the codes.
