Nissan Repair: maxima 06 rear wheel bearing, member need, air tools
QuestionHow do I go about changing the rear wheel bearing? Thanks for your time.
AnswerDenise,
I cannot imagine an 06 Maxima needing a replacement bearing this soon. But, if it does it is a matter of unbolting the old one and replacing it with a new one. The wheel, caliper, rotor and torque member need to be removed to get to the bearing assembly. About an hour job with a jack and air tools. Double this if it is done by hand. courtesynissan.com is a good source for the new bearing.
