Nissan Repair: Flashed check engine light, nissan maxima, steering wheel
QuestionHi
Recently the CEL is flashing then I turned the engine off. Turned engine on again, it stopped flashing.Today, my car seems want to stop(very slow moving) and get vibrated (I think that the vibration is under the hood but I can feel it by the steering wheel) when I pushed the gas after I turned (left or right) or stop(hold break) at stop sight. Do you know what are these reasons? Cost? I really appreciate your help!(Nissan Maxima 1996)
AnswerJohn,
It could be a number of things. The best way to know is to get the code read. There will be a pending code, since it did not keep the check engine light on. Go to Autozone or Checker and get the code read for free. Email me back with the code and we'll go from there. Also, make sure the plugs have been changed in the last two years and that the filters are good. That means, fuel and air filters are also changed. Email me back...
