Nissan Repair: removing 1995 Nissan Pathfinder starter, nissan pathfinder, soleniod

can you tell me how to remove the stater from a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder? I have it unbolted and even removed the soleniod to gain more space, but no matter how I turn and twist it, I can't seem to fit it out past the vehicle frame. Help, PLEASE!

Hi Joe -

Yes, the pathfinders are challenging, depending on what size motor you have -

Did you try to unbolt one side motor mount and lift the engine to gain access? This is how I did the last one that game me issues.
