Nissan Repair: fan switch, nissan sentra, fan switch

Question
The switch is on a 1998 nissan sentra gxe.  It goes 1-4. It know only works on 4.  is it the switch?  And how do I replace it?   Thankyou very much.

There is a resistor cluster, under the dash, passenger side, that controls the speeds you select.  The resistor is blown and needs to be replaced.  Purchase the new one and then remove the glovebox on the passenger side.  You will see what needs to be replaced.
