Nissan Repair: 87 nissan skyline air flow meter, air flow meter, mass airflow sensors

hi Von, my rb30e has just blown its second air flow meter and i have no idea as to why it keeps doing this, even after replacing it 1st time idle was still rough? any help appreciated! josh

For some reason the Skyline eats mass airflow sensors.  Some last for years and some fail way too soon.  The only thing that I have found is the connector is not tight and moisture gets in and burns out the electronics.  I would check the harness and connection before installing another one.  Also, if you purchase rebuilt units try a different vendor.  Check the codes to see what the computer says and email me back.
