Nissan Repair: 1993 nissan sentra automatic transmission, nissan sentra, transmission shop

My sentra stopped shifting as I was driving.  It felt like it was driving in first gear.  Checked the transmission fluid.  It's fine.  Besides doing a rebuild, what should I check out first.

The transmission is probably locked in second as a protection feature.  I would go to a transmission shop and have them connect their computer and read the transmission specific codes.  This could be as simple as a servo or it could be the transmission.  You need to have it diagnosed to be sure.
